Hi and thanks for visiting! My name is Eva Acton, the person behind Dundrum Blooms.

With a background in Science and Sales & Marketing I wanted a change from the hustle and bustle of the corporate business world, so I decided to take on a creative challenge. Having always had an interest in floristry and creative designs I worked for a while in my sisters flower shop and experienced first hand the mayhem of Valentines Day and Mothers Day!!  Unperturbed I decided to pursue this as a career path and wanted to learn from the experts.

So I achieved a higher Diploma in Dutch Floral Design in the Boerma Institute in Aalsmeer, Holland.  During my time there I had the privilege of working with such Floral Masters as Gregor Lersch, Aad van Uffelen, Wim Hazelaar and Bart van der Elsken as well as the original inventor of the “Dutch Garden” Theo Boerma.

All the flowers I use are sourced either directly from Holland or fresh from the wholesalers. Quality and freshness of the flowers is key to vase life and expectancy.

I am also available for consultation for events, corporate work, parties, weddings etc.
